Ck is a Java programmer who also teaches an introductory programming course in his spare time at a local college. He designed this site as a resource to individuals wanting to learn computer programming, using the Java language. The lessons on this site expect no computing and/or programming knowledge from the reader, and are truly designed so that the reader can learn “from scratch.”
This site relies heavily on external sources which can all be found for free on the internet. There are so many tools availible for learning java online, that one really does not need to spend a dime to become a computer programmer. Also, it may be obvious – but everything on this site is completly free to use.
